Glen Scotia 25 years is a single malt whiskey of a respectable age. The whiskey matures in carefully selected ex-bourbon barrels. The scent has strong maritime influences with notes of vanilla and fruit. In the mouth, this Glen Scotia is fruity, with a good balance between sweet and (fresh) sour. In time, the sweet takes over; caramel and vanilla syrup stand out. This transitions to a long finish with notes of sea salt and ginger.
