The Old Perth Cask Strength Sherry Matured Matured is a blended malt whiskey in honor of the city of Perth bottled by independent bottler Morrision Scotch Whiskey Distillers. This Old Perth Cask Strength has matured in sherry casks and is bottled at a cask strength of 58.6%.
Nose: A robust, earthy nose with warm copper, cinnamon, ginger and delicious warm berries and cherries. Also Eastern influences of Baklava come to the fore.
Taste: a wonderfully classic "sherry" whiskey with warming oak, raisins and currants and again that delicious spicy influence.
Aftertaste: the tongue stays "warm" for a long time with that full combination of herbs and dried fruit. An absolute must.
