This heavily peated single malt was distilled at one of Islay's finest distilleries. The exact source remains a closely guarded secret. It has spent many years maturing in American oak. Additional aging in a Madeira cask has created a wonderous combination of sweet peat smoke, tarred ropes, salted caramels, coffee and dried fruits. A truly delicious and memorable dram.
