The Cooper's Choice From The Sample Room Sweet & Smoky Refilled Sherry Cask Finish is a blended malt based on 15 malts including Caol Ila, Bunnahabhain, Laphroaig, Mortlach and Benrinnes bottled by the independent bottler Cooper's Choice (Vintage Malt Whiskey Company). This blended malt has matured in a refill sherry butt and was bottled in 2021 at 44.1%, non chill filtered and without added colourings, as a limited single cask release of 570 bottles.
Nose: peat smoke with sherry sweetness and aged leather
Taste: smoked oysters with tobacco, aged leather, sweet malt, dried fruit and campfire ash with a hint of oil
Finish: soft with light smoke tones
