Bruichladdich is a well-known Islay distillery with a very eventful past and has changed (appealing) owners a number of times. For some years now in French hands, Remy Cointreau. The distillery can produce 1.5 million liters of pure alcohol. The whiskey finds its way around the world under the name Bruichladdich, heavily peated Octomore and the beloved Port Charlottes. Single Cask versions have been something very special and expensive for years. This single cask version is very distinct, powerful and striking. Matured for 12 years in a former Chateau Climens cask, under the name Lochindaal. Very few bottles of this very exceptional, precious and special Bruichladdich version have come to the Netherlands.
