Just when you think you've seen every different name for every different style of whisky from Loch Lomond, another one pops up! This is a Cooper's Choice bottling of Old Rhosdhu single malt, distilled by Loch Lomond back in 1994. It was aged in a bourbon cask for 25 years, before being bottled up with an outturn of 360 bottles.
Nose: Fresh pear and peach, with a hint of cut grass hiding in there too.
Palate: Fruity ginger and red chilli pepper, balanced by more fresh orchard fruits.
Finish: Resinous oak and floral barley.
