The Carn Mor Strictly Limited Blair Athol 13 years old 2008 is a 13 year old Highlands single malt from the Blair Athol distillery bottled in the Strictly Limited series by the independent bottler Carn Mor (Morrison Scotch Whiskey Distillers). This Blair Athol was distilled in 2008 and matured in Oloroso sherry hogsheads. These were bottled married in the summer of 2021 at 47.5%, non chill filtered and without the addition of colourants, as a limited release of 1062 bottles.
Nose: gives scents of shortbread with nuts, malty sweetness with brown spices and ginger.
Taste: spice cake, candy fruit develop through to oak, toffee and fudge.
Finish: long, warming and slightly drying
