Cálem 10 Year Old Tawny Port is the result of a blend of wines which have been aged for an average of 10 years in oak casks, reflecting the ancient art of blending Ports.
With a pale amber colour, it shows aromas of wood, dried fruit and chocolate. Velve
Intense dark color with scents of dark fruit and chocolate. The taste is powerful, complex and with a balanced sweet-tannin content. Long, aromatic aftertaste.
At a young age, this Vintage Port tastes warm and deep with intense fruit and clearly perceptible sweetness. As it ages it becomes lighter in color, the taste more refined, more complex in character and less emphatically sweet.
Deep red color. Very concentrated nose of ripe black fruit, plums and oxidative notes. In the mouth again concentrated, slightly sweet, very fruity with a full body and silky tannins. The wine is further characterized by a very long aftertaste. Incredible
