Benriach 15 years 2005 Oloroso Cask is part of the Cask Edition Collection of the brand which consists only of single cask whiskies. This expression was distilled in 2005 and laid to rest on an ex-Oloroso cask with cask number 2569. The total aging originated 15 years and the filling took place at cask strength: 59.8% alcohol.
Rich scents of sherry open on the nose and are given more depth by the presence of aromas of honey, orange and a hint of crème brûlée. Chocolate meringue, other hazelnuts and sun-dried raisin flavors are prominent on the palate.
