Product Description
The Ardnamurchan Distillery has been bottling the finest whiskies for several years. The style of the various bottlings varies throughout the year, and the peat content in particular can vary. The "small batch" Sauternes bottling of 2024 was not peated at all, but the new Ardnamurchan Sauternes Peated is entirely peated. Not the heaviest, but still.

With 8,460 bottles worldwide, we must speak of a very limited batch. For this batch, 29 ex-bourbon casks were selected. After 3 years of maturation, the contents were transferred to ex-Sauternes barriques, where the whisky spent another 3.5 years.

Tasting Notes

Nose: Lime leaf, lemon candy, filled biscuit, Tarte Tatin, burnt pineapple with pencil shavings, and tobacco.

Palate: Nutmeg, ginger flakes, orange water with smoked manuka honey, lime meringue pie, salted nuts, old wood, farmhouse, and earthy smoke.

Finish: Spicy, powerful, and clean. A decadent drink.
