This refill bourbon hogshead was filled in 1987 and demonstrates just how delicious a well-aged grain can be. Macadamia nut, macaron, Frangelico, and rhum baba meld with bright fruit notes of limoncello and pineapple upside down cake for a light, bright, complex, and delightful dram. Not a bad whisky to pour after you’ve had your bubbly to celebrate New Year’s!
