We may have built our reputation with a stable of Scotch Whisky releases over the last three decades, but we have never been afraid to dabble with spirits from other countries. You might remember our International Fusion Whiskies, a couple of Armagnacs, and a few Rums.
As we look to the future, we couldn’t possibly ignore some of the fine work being done by producers around the world.
This release features three drams from outside of Scotland, which we’ll be showcasing in today’s posts.
First up, closer to home, and our first ever English Whisky release. This comes from our good friends at the Spirit of Yorkshire Distillery in Filey Bay.
We firmly believe in true collaborations. For this project Graeme was lucky enough to visit the distillery in person. Joe and Amy at the distillery helped him hand-pick some cask samples to bring back for analysis.
As a team we were all immediately taken by this luscious Moscatel matured drop.
We are thrilled to release this delicious single cask from The Spirit of Yorkshire Distillery.
