This fabulous 13 year old anCnoc single malt was distilled at Knockdhu in 2007 and bottled by Distiller’s Art Ltd in 2020 for their Spirit of Art series. Knockdhu changed the name of their single malt whisky to anCnoc in 1993 due to concerns the original name was too similar to that of the Knockando distillery.

Drawn from single barrel number 646 and bottled at 53% ABV - a strength recommended by the Distillery Manager, Gordon Bruce, this is one of only 257 bottles and prints.

The print “Knockdhu” is from an original painting by Scottish artist, Stuart Buchanan. The collaboration with local artists is intended to combine stunning fine art with special single cask whiskies. Each bottle is individually numbered and comes with a limited edition hand-signed 465mm x 325mm print from the artist.

As far as we’re aware, other than from the stalwarts at the SMWS, this is one of very few independent bottlings of anCnoc.

The Cask and Canvas, a celebration of whisky and art.
