This 7-year-old Ardnamurchan, bottled by Living Souls, is a harmonious blend of 50% peated and 50% unpeated single malt. The whisky matured entirely in first-fill bourbon casks, creating a fine balance between fruity sweetness, creamy vanilla notes, and subtle coastal smoke.
Tasting Note
Nose: Tropical fruit, passion fruit, and grilled peach are complemented by brioche, vanilla, and a hint of oak. A soft, refined smoke develops in the background.
Taste: Full and creamy with notes of lychee, toffee, caramel, and honey. The light peat smoke and a hint of cedarwood provide extra depth without overpowering the fruity elegance.
Finish: Long and balanced, with lingering notes of sweet malt, vanilla, soft smoke, and a fresh, slightly spicy woody note.
