After ten years, Blue Hanger – one of Berry Bros. & Rudd’s most celebrated creations – is back with The 14th Edition.
Named after William “Blue” Hanger – the impeccably dressed 18th-century customer whose refined palate inspired the original blend – this release continues a tradition of excellent cask selection, meticulous blending and shining character.
The 14th Edition is a marriage of aged malt whiskies, the youngest of which is 26 years old. The blend was composed from seven casks: six ex-Bourbon hogsheads and one ex-Sherry butt. Tempting milk chocolate and caramel notes preface the orchard fruit and baking spice flavours on the palate.
Bottled in limited quantities, the 14th Edition will not be repeated. Once gone, it becomes part of the Blue Hanger legacy.
