The Berry Bros Blair Athol 12 Years Old 2013 is a 12-year-old Speyside single malt from the Blair Athol distillery, bottled in the Crafted in Cask series by independent bottler Berry Bros & Rudd. This Blair Athol was distilled in 2013 and matured in a hogshead, followed by a finish in Margaux red wine cask 303639. It was bottled in 2025 at 58.2% ABV, non-chill-filtered and without added color, as a limited single cask release of 288 bottles.

This Blair Athol gracefully embraces the Margaux cask, elevating the distillery’s hearty malt character to new heights. The nose is indulgently rich, unfolding layers of buttery caramel biscuits and lush, dark hedgerow berries – ripe blackcurrants taking center stage. Adding a dash of water releases an orchard harvest of succulent apples, ripe pears, and a zesty twist of orange peel. The palate reveals a luxurious texture, silky and sweet, intertwining robust maltiness with vibrant fruity notes. The finish gently fades into comforting echoes of malt, crisp green apple, and a refined herbal flourish.
