Official tasting notes:
The nose opens with a captivating blend of sweet fruit and peat—coal smoke curls around notes of caramelized walnuts, damp rubber, and a burst of red berries. The influence of the Oloroso cask is immediately apparent, lending layers of dried fruits, roasted nuts, and a subtle oxidative richness. On the palate, a dense, oily texture carries a deliciously discordant mix of coal smoke and butterscotch, where charred wood meets chewy caramel. Juicy raisins and a jammy red fruit character add depth, playing against earthy, ashy tones. The finish is long and smouldering, with a final flourish of sweet smoke and a touch of salted caramel
