Founded in 1916 by Nicolas Gales, Caves Gales & Cie is a leading Luxembourg family business making both still and sparkling wines.
His grandson Marc Gales has now handed over the management to his eldest daughter Isabelle, making her part of the fourth generation of the company. The vineyards lie in a narrow strip along the Moselle and the grape varieties planted there are mainly white and resistant to the northern climate: riesling, auxerrois, rivaner, elbling, pinot blanc and pinot gris.
