Bruichladdich Old Skool 10y is a celebration of the revival of our distillery in 2001. In a commemorative bottle inspired by the retro Bruichladdich labels of the 80s, this 10-year-old single malt Scotch whisky is distilled using malt barley grown on our island. Our first harvest of Islay barley dates back to 2004.
From this first, groundbreaking trial harvest, we now work with 19 local farmers, enabling us to create unique, flavourful whisky while simultaneously supporting crop diversification, cultivation techniques, and value preservation within the local farming community. Tasting notes: apricot jam, vanilla, toasted coconut, and warming clove, with a maturation profile of 95% first-fill bourbon and 5% first-fill sauternes at 50% ABV.
