This stunningly beautiful château is located within the Margaux appellation. A Cabernet Sauvignon-driven wine from the region's renowned gravelly soil, it has a deep red color and is beautifully perfumed.
The flavor is dark fruity, round, full-bodied with beautiful tannins and a long finish. It pairs wonderfully with, for example, a pure beef tenderloin drizzled with its own jus or poached in red wine with shallots.
CLIMATE & TERROIR: A maritime climate with (currently) often
warm summers and mild winters. The weather can be unpredictable. The soil
consists of a mix of limestone, clay, and primarily gravel.
VINIFICATION: The grapes are harvested separately and fined in
temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks. The blend comes
from the best plots. The wine is aged for 12–15 months, 60% of the wine in
new French oak barrels.
