Claxton’s Warehouse No. 1 Ardmore 10 Years Old 2015
This 10-year-old Ardmore, distilled in 2015 and bottled by independent bottler Claxton’s as part of the beloved Warehouse No. 1 series, beautifully showcases the character of this peated Highland distillery. Bottled at cask strength (56.1%) and without cold filtration or added colorings, this single cask offers a pure and authentic whisky experience.
Nose: Fresh wood smoke blends with vanilla, honey, and ripe orchard fruit. Notes of citrus, heather, and subtle spiciness create an inviting complexity.
Taste: Full and powerful with a beautiful balance between sweet malt, creamy vanilla, and soft peat smoke. Flavors of caramelized apple, peach, white pepper, and toasted oak build up in layers. Finish: Long and warming, with lingering smoke, spicy oak, honey, and a fresh touch of citrus that slowly fades.
A characterful Highland single malt in which the distinctive Ardmore smoke elegantly blends with fruity sweetness and a refined wood influence. An excellent choice for lovers of subtly peated whiskies with depth and a powerful, natural character.
