DAFTMILL 15YO – 2026 Release

Description
A distinctive Lowland single malt from the artisanal Daftmill distillery, situated on a working farm in Fife, Scotland. Daftmill is renowned for its small-scale production; the distillery operates only during specific times of the year, alongside the farm's agricultural activities. Much of the barley is grown on the estate itself, lending the distillery a unique character. The whiskies are released in limited batches and are cherished by enthusiasts seeking authentic, characterful Scotch single malts.

The Daftmill 15YO – 2026 Release offers an opportunity to discover the refined character of this exceptional distillery. After fifteen years of maturation, the whisky has had time to develop depth and complexity, blending the soft, fruity character typical of the Lowlands with rich, warm notes derived from cask maturation.

Tasting Note
On the nose, the whisky opens elegantly and invitingly, revealing notes of honey, vanilla, and ripe orchard fruits such as apple and pear. Soft malty notes and a subtle hint of caramel emerge in the background, complemented by a touch of spice.

On the palate, the whisky is full-bodied and beautifully balanced. Sweet notes of honey and creamy toffee combine with fruity accents and a soft, malty undertone. As the whisky develops, nuances of oak, warm spices, and a slight nuttiness may emerge. These layers of flavor create a refined and pleasant complexity without compromising the whisky's elegant character.
