Description
Distilled in 2015 and bottled at 59.1% ABV, this 9-year-old Dalmore comes from cask number 4428, a First Fill Bourbon Barrel that produced only 238 bottles. Its golden hue evokes a brilliant Chardonnay gold, heralding a rich and seductive single malt, combining fruity sweetness with elegant oak.
Nose: Juicy apricot, crunchy cornflakes, nuts, peach in syrup, candied cherry, muscovado sugar, and coconut biscuits.
Palate: Warm and complex, with notes of cassia bark, birch sap, honeycomb, gummy candies, caramel apple, and vanilla pudding.
Finish: Full and smooth, with a viscous texture, balanced richness, and lingering sweetness.
