Sharing its name with Scotland's most iconic peak, Ben Nevis distillery has sat in the shadow of the mountain for almost two centuries. From the distillery's first day in production, under the ownership of "Long John" Macdonald, in 1825, right up to the present day, the Allt a'Mhuilinn water that runs from the mountain remains a key part in the robust Ben Nevis spirit, which marries the rich and sweet highland flavours with subtle coastal notes.
