Nose: Quite smoky with lots of dark woody spice. Charcoal and charred oak and a touch of cigar smoke with layers of orange and dark chocolate and marzipan.
Palate: An absolute monster of a dram, this. Firewood, loads of oak, loads of spice and ashy smoke.
Finish: Long, dry finish. Big, spicy arrival of cloves, nutmeg, cinnamon and chill powder turn to dark chocolate and coffee.
