The Rarest Reserve Collection is a series of exclusive bottlings from the finest casks Duncan Taylor has to offer. The whisky is presented in elegant packaging inspired by the gold bar. First introduced last year, this packaging contains 100ml of this rare whisky. Previously, it was used for the 33 and 52-year-old Macallan bottlings, and now for the 42-year-old Bowmore.

The journey of the 42-year-old Bowmore single malt began in October 1982. The whisky was meticulously matured in a former Pedro Ximenez sherry cask. This deep, resinous, golden-colored whisky is one of the oldest Bowmores Duncan Taylor has released to date and has an ABV of 50.8%. Tasting Notes – Duncan Taylor The Rarest Bowmore 42 YO 1982
Nose – Ripe orchard fruits, smokehouse sweetness, machair flowers, toffee-like fudge, and delicate notes of peat smoke.
Palate – Maritime smoke, milk chocolate, peanuts, oily notes, sweet spice, ginger, and cinnamon.
Finish – Long-lasting, very smooth, and beautifully balanced.
