Berry Bros. & Rudd Frapin 35 Years – Vintage 1990
An exceptionally aged Frapin from the 1990 vintage, boasting no less than 35 years of maturation. This mature cognac beautifully demonstrates how slow aging in oak can impart depth, elegance, and complexity. The fresh fruit notes typical of young cognac have given way to rich nuances of dried fruit, nuts, spices, and the characteristic influence of long-term oak aging.

Tasting Notes
Nose:
Elegant and complex, featuring aromas of dried apricots, plums, figs, and orange peel. These are followed by notes of aged oak, walnuts, vanilla, honey, and a hint of tobacco. A subtle *rancio* note adds further depth and character to the nose.

Palate:
Full-bodied, rich, and silky smooth. Dark dried fruit flavors are complemented by notes of candied orange, caramel, honey, and dark chocolate. The extended maturation yields beautiful nutty tones—walnut and almond—combined with soft spices, aged oak, and a refined spiciness.

Finish:
Exceptionally long and warming, with layers of dried fruit, nuts, cocoa, and spicy oak. As the finish lingers, elegant *rancio* notes increasingly come to the fore, accompanied by a subtle dryness that keeps the cognac beautifully balanced.

Summary:
A rich and refined 35-year-old vintage cognac of impressive depth. Dried fruit, nuts, chocolate, orange, and aged oak blend beautifully with elegant *rancio* notes. A complex cognac that evolves slowly, inviting you to sit back and savor it at a leisurely pace.
