The Cooper's Choice Glen Elgin 11 years old 2010 Sauternes Cask Finish is an 11 year old Speyside single malt from the Glen Elgin distillery bottled by the independent bottler Cooper's Choice (Vintage Malt Whiskey Company). This Glen Elgin was distilled in February 2010 and matured in a bourbon cask followed by a finish in Sauternes cask 801463. It was bottled in 2021 at cask strength of 56%, non chill filtered and without added colourings, as a limited single cask release of 312 bottles.
Nose: Napricot and peach perfume with sweet malt
Taste: honey, fruit, vanilla, sweet malt, apricots and soft herbs
Finish: long with spicy oak notes
