The whiskies are then brought together in Glenfiddich’s unique Solera vat.
In use since 1998, this large oak vat is never fully emptied; a portion of the older whisky always remains, contributing to the rich, consistent character of this expression. The result is an exceptionally smooth, full-bodied, and complex single malt, offering a fine balance between fruity sweetness, sherry-cask influence, and warm spices.

Tasting Notes
Nose: Rich and inviting, with notes of sweet heather honey, vanilla toffee, and ripe dark fruit. Subtle floral aromas and a hint of dried fruit also emerge.
Palate: Silky-smooth and full-bodied, featuring rich notes of sherry-seasoned oak, marzipan, and almonds. Cinnamon and ginger provide a pleasant spiciness, while vanilla and honey create a beautifully sweet balance.
Finish: Long, warm, and pleasantly smooth. The sweet notes of honey and vanilla remain pleasantly present, complemented by subtle spices and oak.
