The Macallan Harmony Collection Jing is the result of a collaboration between The Macallan and the premium tea brand Jing. This whisky is inspired by Phoenix honey orchid tea, a tea with floral, honeyed, and even slightly smoky aromas. Driven by a shared commitment to quality, provenance, and craftsmanship, the result is a complex and aromatic single malt whisky created with respect for nature.
This whisky is part of the Harmony Collection, which emphasizes the use of recycled materials in its packaging. This edition uses surplus tea leaves that were deemed unfit for consumption but were nevertheless given a second life this way.
The Macallan Harmony Jing Tasting Notes
Summery fruit influences open on the nose, with hints of peach particularly noticeable. Floral, honeyed notes complement this, followed by notes of tropical fruit, toffee, and oak. The palate is reminiscent of fresh peach in syrup, citrus, and toffee. Floral influences are evident in the background. The finish offers both fruity and sweet notes.
