This single malt from Sweden's High Coast distillery is brought to us by independent bottler Adelphi. Distilled in 2014, the unpeated whisky spent nine years maturing in a first-fill oloroso sherry hogshead before it was bottled at a robust 58.1% ABV.
Tasting Notes
Nose: Maple syrup over a stack of pancakes, cedar wood, fig syrup, manuka honey, dark chocolate fudge and milky caramel.
Palate: Lush and decadent — fig syrup, Medjool dates, Crunchie bars, honeycomb, pecan pie, chocolate devil cake, chocolate ganache and sticky toffee pudding.
Finish: Rich, luscious, and moreish — a true Christmas Eve dram, indulgent and long-lasting.
