Harris is a remote island of Scotland's Outer Hebrides. As an initiative of the residents of the island, the Isle of Harris distillery has been opened in Tarbert. To provide employment to local people and to be more attractive for tourists to visit. Fired in the small gin boiler “The Dotach” and with locally harvested “Sugar Kelp” as the main ingredient and seasoning.
Tasting notes: maritime undertones of the seaweed. Spicy juniper berry with pine needles. Fresh citrus notes, soft floral. Soft and slightly sweet aftertaste with salty undertones.
