FAMILIA KOCH EL MEZCAL
Our origins date back to the time of the Mexican Revolution, when our founder Carlos Moreno's family began their journey into the world of mezcal. Today, we continue to grow and are proud to collaborate with more than 52 producer families from 18 communities in the state of Oaxaca, giving us an international presence in over 16 countries.
TASTING NOTES
Aromas: Strong herbal and mineral presence, with a hint of white peppercorns. Notes of damp stone, ginseng, and cashew nuts, with a slight spiciness of roasted dried chili on the finish.
Palate: Medium-bodied with hints of herbal spices like ginseng and clove, accompanied by strong flavors of cooked sweet potato, sweet onions, and radishes. A light touch of oriental orange on the finish, and an aftertaste of roasted chestnuts.
