Walking through the sinuous curves of Etna, with a look to the summit, we arrive in a place protected from the rest of the world. A place where the wind leaves a thin lava powder that enriches the soil, a place where the sun brings the bunches of Nerello Mascalese, Nerello Cappuccio, Carricante, Catarratto and Moscato dell'Etna to perfect ripness. This allows the realisation of La Gelsomina Extreme wine line.
Tasting notes:
Ruby red with garnet reflections. Elegant and intense with hints of rose and wild violet together with fruity notes of cherry and raspberry and spicy notes of cinnamon and vanilla. Full on the palate with elegant tannins and lively acidity that attenuates the intense alcoholic note.
