Aromas of campfire smoke, sea salt, and charred wood immediately emerge, followed by raisins, dates, figs, and dark chocolate. A hint of orange peel, clove, and leather adds extra depth.
Taste
Full and powerful, with Ledaig's characteristic earthy peat smoke beautifully interwoven with the syrupy sweetness of PX sherry. Dark fruits, caramel, espresso, and cocoa are supported by notes of black pepper, nutmeg, and a subtle briny minerality. Finish
Long and warming, in which the smoke slowly fades and gives way to notes of dried fruit, oak, mocha, and a soft sherry sweetness that lingers elegantly.
