33% from bourbon cask, 42% from Oloroso sherry cask, 17% from PX sherry cask, 17% from “Virgin Oak” and 11% from a former red wine cask.
Tasting notes: Nose: The maritime character is clear and mixes with toffee, fruit cake, freshly baked bread and orange peel with vanilla.
Taste: Raisins with marmalade, cloves and salty mint liquorice. Peat smoke and smoked fish then take over.
Finish: Lingering spicy with sweet raisins and oak influences. A very mature whisky with a beautiful combination of flavours.
