The "Pougets" vineyard is located in an original place on the Corton kidney, on the place of origin of the Corton Charlemagne. It is oriented East-South, thus benefiting from maximum sunshine. It comes from the Domaine des Héritiers Louis Jadot (1.54 hectares). The soil there is calcareous brown with scree-silts on the slope. The subsoil is mainly marl-limestone.
