A single cask bottling of Macallan whisky by Gleann Mor Spirits presented in their Rare Find series. This was distilled in 1993 and matured in a refill sherry cask for 26 years until 2019 when it was bottled at natural cask strength of 40.8%.
Official Tasting Notes
Nose: Sweet sherry, caramel and vanilla with hints of orange marmalade, and pears.
Palate: Zesty with gentle peppery notes. Orange boiled sweets, honey and sugary fudge, Calvados, dried fruit and a kick of black pepper on the finish.
