Single cask Macduff, independently bottled by the wonderful North Star Spirits. This whisky was distilled back in 2006 and left to mature in a refill bourbon hogshead until it was bottled 11 years later. A release of just 240 bottles.
Burnt sugar and cinnamon, with underlying banana and apple fruitiness.
Buttery malt, red liquorice, crème caramel.
Black pepper, more brown sugar and a touch of citrus.
