The Elena Walch winery consists primarily of two vineyards of great historical and geographical significance, which have held official designation since 2014. These are Castel Ringberg in Caldaro and Kastelaz in Tramin. Each wine is an original expression of the grape, soil, and climate. Elena Walch is convinced that the quality of their wines is developed in the vineyard, and this requires unwavering commitment, taking into account the authenticity of each vineyard.
Müller Thurgau is a white grape variety developed in 1882 by Hermann Müller from the Swiss canton of Thurgau. It is a cross between Riesling and Madeleine Royale, a Chasselas variety that thrives in the mountains.
