This whiskey is distilled by a well-known distillery in the Speyside region. Due to regulations its name cannot be uttered, so it was bottled in Murray McDavid's Mystery Malt series. In close collaboration with them, this cask was selected and bottled for High Spirits and the Dutch market.
The name Speyside's Finest is a used expression to indicate the fact that independent bottlings from this distillery are very scarce and are not allowed to bear the name of the distillery.
This bottling has matured for over 12 years in a former Oloroso sherry puncheon and has resulted in a rich chic yet recognizable bottling.
