The Loch Lomond Single Cask Negro Barolo Finish is a Highlands single malt from the Loch Lomond distillery, finished in an Angelo Negro Barolo Finish cask. To celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Dutch importer De Monnik Dranken, four wineries and Loch Lomond have joined forces to create the Loch Lomond The Wine Finishes series. This series of five single cask Loch Lomonds is finished in various wine casks from Vina Ventisquero, Faustino, Angelo Negro, and Phebus. The base of Loch Lomond is always the same: a fruity and smooth Highlands single malt.
This Negro Barolo Finish comes from cask 18/189-4. The spirit was distilled in September 2007 and bottled in August 2018 at 51.5% ABV, non-chill-filtered, and without added color. This is a limited single cask release of 319 bottles.
