The Château de Gensac dates from the 13th century. On this terroir the vines have been cultivated for more than 600 years. This is the setting we have chosen to satisfy our passions for breeding horses and great Armagnacs.
Armagnac Sponge Edition 2 is a 49 year old, 1972 vintage Bas Armagnac. Composed of an equal parts mix of two sibling casks and bottled at natural cask strength of 42.9%.
