The finish is satisfying, rich, and long, with the sweet flavors of the PX sherry and a light toasted oak sensation lingering on the palate.
This whiskey is a single pot still Irish whiskey, triple distilled, and initially matured in ex-bourbon and Oloroso sherry casks, after which it was finished in Pedro Ximénez hogsheads from southern Spain.
