The Solenne Negroamaro - Primitivo is a fruity and spicy wine with aromas of black cherry, plum, blackberry, vanilla and chocolate. Surprisingly fresh style primitivo. A delicious wine with beef, lamb or southern Italian pasta dishes such as orecchiette al ragu Pugliese. Serve at 18-20°C.
CLIMATE & TERROIR: This negroamaro - primitivo comes from the heel of Italy: Puglia. Here it is very sunny and dry and the vineyards get some cooling from the Adriatic and Ionian Sea. The soils consist of chalk and lime.
VINIFICATION: The grapes undergo a maceration of 7-8 days to obtain
colour and structure. The alcoholic and malolactic
conversion takes place in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 25-27°C.

FACT: The name negroamaro refers to the colour and
taste of the grape. Negroamaro is almost black in colour (negro) and
has a bit of a bitterness in the aftertaste (amaro) which
combines well with the ripe red fruit that you taste.
