We're not actually allowed to write it, but the Highland 2011 comes from the Clynelish Distillery. And that is always a recommendation. The nose fills with fresh herbs and beeswax. The salty influences of the location of the distillery are also noticeable, followed by honey and pencil shavings. Also on the tongue the coastal influences, but now with more yellow fruit and filled cake. Then a pinch of smoke and pepper. All this also continues in the aftertaste with a little more sweetness that combines wonderfully with the rest. Delicious.
