The Mac-Talla Terra Classic Islay Single Malt is an Islay single malt from an undisclosed distillery bottled by independent bottler Morrison Scotch Whiskey Distillers. The Terra is a release aged 46% in American oak. A full-bodied Islay single malt with earthy influences, salty sea air, wood smoke and a smoky aftertaste.
Nose: fresh salty sea influences, smoke from a wood fire, polished copper and inlaid yellow fruit.
Taste: a wonderful combination of yellow fruit, light salmiak, spicy herbs and influences from the sea. Salty smoke covers the tongue.
Finish: salty from the sea with sweet smoke and spicy mint.
