This whisky is first matured for a minimum of three years in American oak barrels, after which it undergoes an additional three months of finishing in Mizunara casks. These casks are known for imparting floral notes, as well as flavors of sandalwood and cocoa.
TASTING NOTES
APPEARANCE: Light amber with a golden glow
NOTE: Complex and aromatic, with a distinct sandalwood note from the Mizunara. Hints of coconut and vanilla.
PASTE: Smooth and nuanced, with vanilla, a soft caramel, and a hint of spice.
FINISH: Medium to long, with the lingering spice of the Mizunara.
