The Epicurean Tawny Port Finish Limited Edition Single Cask is the fifth limited edition Epicurean single cask release from Douglas Laing. This Lowlands blended malt was matured in American oak, followed by a finish in a carefully selected Ruby Port cask from the Douro Valley in Northern Portugal. It was bottled in 2021 at 48% ABV, non-chill-filtered and without added color, as a limited single cask release of 408 bottles.
Nose: Fresh pears and red wine.
Palate: Chocolate and green apple.
Finish: Sweet almonds.
