Parcel no. 10 of The Single Malts of Scotland Reserve Casks series is a 10 year old single malt from Ben Nevis Distillery. Distilled in 2012, the whiskey is a blend of five oloroso sherry hogsheads and bottled in 2022 with no added color or cold filtration. Bottled at 48% alc.
Nose: nutty, chocolatey, oloroso goodness.
Taste: chocolate covered raisins, spiced Christmas cake and some greasy walnuts.
Finish: Rich and velvety, with lingering toasted notes and dark chocolate.
